In 2006, the Greenville Chorale began the Sponsoring Church Program in which the Chorale invited local area churches to partner with us to encourage the art of choral singing.
As a Sponsoring Church of The Greenville Chorale, the choral director is asked to promote The Chorale to the church in the following ways:
- Publicity of Chorale concerts in church newsletter and/or order of worship or other published materials, highlighting performances of sacred works.
- Display posters/brochures in the hallways of the church/congregation. These posters/brochures will be mailed to the church.
- Information about the Chorale concerts shared with church choir members and any other interested parishioners.
In appreciation for each Sponsoring Church, the Greenville Chorale will:
- List the name of the sponsoring church/congregation in the concert program and on the Chorale website.
- Donate four complimentary tickets to each concert. We request these tickets to be distributed to church members who otherwise could not attend.
